Mary Ross

 
 

Mary is currently studying at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology working towards her doctorate in clinical psychology. She received her Bachelor of Applied Science from The University of Minnesota, Duluth where aside from psychology she enjoyed studying topics such as feminism and biology. While in her undergraduate career, Mary was an avid researcher, focusing on human memory and decision-making. Before moving to Chicago, she also spent a year in Americorps on program development for children’s reading programs. For over seven years Mary has been involved in several non-profit organizations serving individuals with developmental disabilities as both a volunteer and an employee. Since embarking on her clinical studies in Chicago, Mary has begun working as a Clinical Consultant at Neurogenesis and plans to continue her training in neuropsychology as she advances through her doctoral program. As a doctoral student Mary has also obtained clinical training in assessment as a diagnostician at Riveredge Hospital. Mary’s dissertation research will focus on emotional intelligence of individuals who have undergone neurofeedback therapy.
